Signed photograph, shown as Madame de Croissy, the Old Prioress in Poulenc's Dialogue des Carmelites at the Metropolitan Opera, New York (Crespin had been previously best known for her earlier performance of Madame Lidoine, the New Prioress, in the premiere of the French version of the opera first presented in Paris in June 1957).
