A Cross Of Military Merit, IV Class Officer consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac but across the whole Russian(Cruz Peruana al Mrito Militar). Instituted in 1949. Three piece construction, in silvered and gilt bronze with white, black and green enamels, unmarked, measuring 53 mm (w) x 84 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath suspension, intact enamels, very light contact, original ribbon fed through a hanger with stickpin attachment, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Cross of Military Merit was instituted in February 1949 and is awarded to members of the armed
