This cuve pays tribute the Grassa Artauds familys ancestors, originally from Erc, a small village nestled in the mountains of Arige, at the foot of the Pyrenes, who maintained the bear tamer tradition. In 1912, they acquired Domaine Tariquet in Gascony that had been making Armagnac since 1683.
