Bavaria, Kingdom. A Merit Cross For 1870/1871 Auction Haller was living abroad(Bayerisches Verdienstkreuz fr 1870 1871). Issued on 12. 5. 1871 by King Ludwig II. (ussued 1870 1871). A cross pattee with a Gold frame and silver arms, the obverse with a raised white enameled central medallion with a painted red cross, surrounded by a black raised ring of of enamels, the reverse with a central silver medallion with a sun ray pattern, adorned by a Gold crowned cipher of King Ludwig, surrounded by a blue ring of enamels, dated 1870
