China, Republic. An Order of the Precious Brilliant Golden Grain, Knight Newly Listed Type III with Uniface Trophy-of-Arms(Order of Chia Ho). Instituted in 1912. In silver, an eight point star in white enamel, the obverse centerpiece in blue, white, yellow, green, and black enamels, reverse bearing Chinese inscription, 66. 6 mm (h) x 43 mm (w), weighs 27. 9 grams, on ribbon, enamels intact, extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of the Precious Brilliant Golden Grain was instituted by President Yuan Shih Kai on 29 July 1912. It was conferred in recognition of exceptional
