Germany, Luftwaffe. A Fallschirmjäger Badge, Type G, Refurbished Example by F.W. Assmann & Söhne United Republic of faded rectangular stamp in black(Fallschirmschtzenabzeichen). Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two replacement rivets securing the eagle in position, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flattened and rounded catch emanating from a circular plate, maker marked with the logo of F. W.
