Russia, Imperial. An Order of St. George, IV. Class, Knight’s Cross, c. 1935 Hold that he was not married(Orden Svyatogo Georgiya). Instituted November 26th, 1769 (c. 1935 issue). A silver Cross Patte with white enameled arms, with a central medallion bearing the image of St. George on horseback slaying a dragon, the reverse with a central white enameled medallion inscribed with the cypher of St. George in silver, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from its period original ribbon, marked on the loop but illegible, measuring 38. 0 mm (w) x 42.
