Prussia, Kingdom. An Order of the Red Eagle, Breast Star of the Order, Cloth Version c.1815 Auction Archive maroon and green embroidery(Roter Adler Orden, Bruststern zum Kreuz des Ordens). Instituted 12 June 1792 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II. (c. 1815 issue). Constructed of a solid woven cotton base, the obverse consisting of an eight pointed radiant starburst with arms constructed of woven silver flat wire, bearing a central white woven disc overlaid by a hand embroidered Prussian imperial eagle, clutching a laurel leaf and overlaid by a shield bearing a Hohenzollern coat of arms,
